Discover Our Country Charm

The City of Lowry Crossing is 2.5 square miles of beautiful, country community living. Situated in the heart of Collin County, Lowry Crossing is positioned in the rolling hills above the East Fork of the Trinity River between McKinney and Princeton. We offer a more rural, peaceful environment conveniently located within minutes of Central Expressway.

With farming community roots, Lowry Crossing was originally established as a town in 1971 and has grown to more than 1,700 residents. We have all the essentials of country community life and a welcoming spirit.

According to a survey conducted in December 2011, businesses that provide direct services that benefit our citizens are greatly desired and they would support business in our community. These include:

  • Restaurants
  • Convenience Store(s)
  • Gas Station
  • Retail Centers with services and shopping
  • Entertainment
  • Daycare
  • Coffee Shop
  • Drug Store

The Lowry Crossing Economic Development Corporation looks forward to discussing your ideas and concepts. We hope to create a commercial retail area that is mutually beneficial for you and our community.

“We have enjoyed our building experience in Lowry Crossing. They are a great city to work with. The building inspector is reasonable and fair in every way. We look forward to doing more projects in Lowry Crossing and encourage others to do the same.”
