Lowry Crossing Demographics

Lowry Crossing is centrally located just five miles east of the Collin County seat. Collin County is the third fastest growing county in Texas, the 13th fastest growing in the U.S., the 6th most populous county in Texas, and one of the wealthiest counties in Texas and the USA.

The population of Lowry Crossing was reported as 1,711 in the 2010 Census with a median age of 41. There are over 650 homes in the city limits and abundant acreage in the ETJ for additional development.

The charts below show the potential population reach within two and five miles of Bridgefarmer Road, bringing the numbers to a much greater level of potential consumers for commercial business.

There are over 22 acres currently for sale in the Commercial zoning district, located along E. US Hwy 380, and an additional 11 acres occupied. Another 20 plus acres of unincorporated frontage could be annexed into the city limits. Large and small plats are available.

All sewage is by individual septic systems at this time. Larger areas could be developed utilizing a system designed to provide for several businesses.
